new update with a few enhancements and a fix for an old mistake that has been there from the beginning. 

The intro splash got some particle effects (very subtle but makes the image more  alive). Also there is a new animation transition for the logo. Also the transition into the menus has been cleaned up more.

The background animation for the octopus has been touched up a bit. I smoothed out some texture transitions and the animation changes with combo runs. When you reach 4x multiplier everything slows down including the particle effects. Still massaging this, but so far it feels more responsive and nice. 

the reactor for the Star power is also enhanced - this might change in the future, i'm aware it makes some notes hard to read when it is on.

I forgot to include the FC stars on the score display. the FC was still recorded but it was not displayed right after the song. sorry

another big sorry - if you gathered stars on say easy, then played the same song on expert and beat the old score but got less stars, the stars recorded difficulty would change to the harder level without really earning them. i'm sure this is a rare case, but i noticed it today for the first time ever. sorry.
